Strong medical system, universities and academic centers, specialized hospitals and European standards-compliant legislation — all of these greatly contributes to the growth in numbers of clinical trials, performed in the country and ICH/GCP awareness among the Investigators.

Still the number of clinical trials is significantly fewer, compared to the USA and Western Europe, leaving enough space for notably high enrollment rates and possibly still with drug-naive patients in many therapeutic areas.

GCT has been operational in the Ukraine since the end of 2003.
